(leper)

2) Defilement poses a threat to unity within the camp of God's people. V.2
(put out of the camp)

3) Defilement poses a threat to spiritual health within the camp of God's people. V.2
(put out of the camp)

4) Defilement exposes God's people to the same defilement within the camp, thus the need of separation. V.2
(put out of the camp ••• )

5) Defilement is defilement irrespective of the cause of defilement. V.2
(leper, everyone that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead.)

6) Defilement gains no concessions of favor or justifications.v.3
(Both male and female shall ye put out, ••• )

7) Defilement must be dealt with or it will deal with the undefiled. V.3
(that they defile not their camps,)

8) Defilement is not a condition in which God can dwell. V.3
(in the midst whereof I dwell.)

9) Defilement will be dealt with as the issue of obedience is dealt with. V.4
(and the children of Israel did so,)

10) Defilement ceases having an effect when it is dealt with as God directs. V.4
(and put them outside the camp; as the Lord spoke unto Moses,)
