Why Lack Luke 11 9-13




Read the passage: Luke 11



v.9 1. When Jesus has told us just to ask.
(Ask)

v.10 2. When Jesus desires us to receive His abundance.
(For everyone that asketh receiveth;)

v.10 3. When we are seeking that which can be found.
(and he that seeketh findeth;)

v.10 4. When Jesus will open the door for us.
(and to him that knocketh it shall be opened)

v.11 5. When our heavenly Father considers us His children.


v.11 6. When our heavenly Father desires to give.
(If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, …)

v.13 7. When our heavenly Father has so much to give.
(…how much more shall your heavenly father give the Holy Spirit to them
that ask Him.)

The Blessing of Believing-IV Luke 1 45




Read the passage: Luke 1

(And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.)
  1. The covering of God's word in place.

  2. The security of just trusting in the Savior.

  3. The acknowledgment of the presence of God, that it is God.

  4. The value in a life placed upon what God says, who God is.

  5. Acknowledge the desire God has to prove Himself strong.

  6. Blessing that has no wait.

  7. Surrender that has no return.

The Message Heaven Could Hold No Longer Luke 2 9-14




Read the passage: Luke 2




v.10 1. The sharing of heaven's joy.
(...I bring you good tidings of great joy.)

v.10 2. The expanse of heaven's inclusion.
  (the opportunity given)(which shall be to all people.)

v.11 3. The telling of heaven's story.
(For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ
  the Lord.)
The only Savior for mens' sin.

v.11 4. The object of heaven's adoration.
(a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.)

v.13 5. The release of heaven's glory.
(And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host
  praising God, and saying,)

v.14 6. The celebration of heaven's wisdom.
(Glory to God in the highest,)

v.14 7. The revealing of heaven's opportunity.
(and on earth peace, good will toward men.)

A Chosen Vessel Luke 1 27-38




Read the passage: Luke 1




v.27 1. Not just a virgin but a virgin of God's choosing.
(To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David 
and the virgin's name was Mary.)

v.27 2. Not just any house but the house of David.


v.28 3. Not to one favored beforehand, but to one God chose to favor and bless.
(And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that are highly favored, the
  Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

v.29 4. Not to one expecting honor (proud of heart) but to one lowly of heart
    48 (And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, …)
(For He hath regarded the low estate of His handmaiden:)

v.30 5. Not to one qualified, but one chosen.
               (And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God.)

v.31 6. Not to one deserving, but one chosen.
(And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt 
call His name Jesus.)

v.32-7. Not to one who has foreknowledge nor understanding but one chosen.
(He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God 
shall give unto Him the throne of His father David:)

v.34 8. Not to one who knows the way, but to one chosen.
(Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?)

v.35 9. Not to one who is self reliant, but to one chosen.
                (And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, …)

v.38 10. Not to one capable of fulfillment, but to one chosen.
(And Mary said, behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy 
word.…)

Nothing Impossible-I Luke 1 37




Read the passage: Luke 1

(For with God nothing shall be impossible.)
  1. God's eternal truth illustrated to men.

  2. God's eternal hope positioned before men.

  3. God's eternal justice brought before men.
    God's standard of acceptance is uncompromising. 
    Man cannot qualify on his own merit.

  4. God's eternal grace brought before men.

  5. God's eternal truth inspiring the believer's faith.

  6. God's eternal truth preserving the believer's sanctification.

  7. God's eternal truth continuously revealing God's unrelinquished control. 
    Even creating a new heaven and new earth.

The Message Man Must Hear Luke 2 8-14




Read the passage: Luke 2


v.8 1. The greatest message is not necessarily where the greatest gathering is.
(shepherds abiding in the field,)

v.8 2. The greatest message is not necessarily where earth’s seeming greatest
exposure is.
(shepherds abiding in the field,)

v.9 3. The greatest message has the greatest glory, not necessarily the greatest
attraction.
(and the glory of the Lord shone round about them;)

v.10 4. The greatest message has a joy which the world cannot purchase.
(…I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.)

v.11 5. The greatest message has the greatest presence of truth in it.
(For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the
Lord.)
fulfilling prophecy

v.11 6. The greatest message is for the greatest need man has.
(a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.)

v.12 7. The greatest message has the greatest humility.
(…ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.)

v.13 8. The greatest message has the greatest affirmation.
(And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host,)

v.13, 9. The greatest message is in harmony with heaven’s heart of rejoicing.
   14 (…praising God,and saying,Glory to God in the highest,)

v.14 10. The greatest message brings the only true peace that may be found.
(…and on earth peace, good will toward men.)

The Message Released Luke 19 38-40




Read the passage: Luke 19



v.38 1. Jesus is the King.
(Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord;)

v.38 2. There is not like unto Jesus, who is both blessed and a blessing.
(Saying, Blessed be the King)

v.38 3. The name of the King is Jesus, the Lord; there is none greater nor more
wonderful.
(the King that cometh in the name of the Lord;)

v.38 4. Jesus comes with heaven’s commendation.
(peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.)
v.38 5. Jesus comes with heaven’s splendor and glory.
(and glory in the highest.)

v.40 6. The news of Jesus coming cannot be denied nor quieted.
(And He answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold
their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.)
The time had arrived that eternity to that point awaited.

v.40 7. To suppress news of the King would be to call creation to bear witness.

The Powerful Christ III Mark 5 23-42




Read the passage: Mark 5


v.23 1. Unthreatened by the intensity of the moment. 
(And besought Him greatly, saying,) 

v.23 2. Unthreatened by the pressure of the circumstance. 
(My little daughter lieth at the point of death.

v.23,24  3. Unthreatened by time. 
(come and lay hands on her, ... And Jesus went with him.) 

v.35 4. Unthreatened by impossibility. 
( ... there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain who said, Thy daughter is dead.) 

v.36 5. Unthreatened by any fear. 
(Be not afraid. only believe.) 
Fear of error of omission, of problem, of opinion, ... ) 

V40  6. Unthreatened by unbelief. 
(And they laughed Him to scorn.) 

v41,42 ,7. Unthreatened by  premature conclusion. 
(And He took the child by the hand, and said unto her, ... I say unto thee, arise. And straightway the child arose.)

The Mighty Christ John 11 3-44




Read the passage: John 11



v.3 1. Awaiting diving opportunity.
(...Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.)

v.6 2. Knowing divine timing.
(...He abode two days still in the same place where He was.)

v.14 3. Presenting divine control.
(...Lazarus is dead.)
Christ knows the issue.

v.25 4. Revealing divine truth.
(...I am the resurrection, and the life:)

v.25 5. Revealing divine life.
(...and the life:)

v.43 6. Showing forth divine power.
(Lazarus, come forth.)

v.44 7. Revealing divine liberty.
(Loose him, and let him go.)
