Too Good to be True Acts 12: 7-11

v.7 1. When God does the seemingly impossible in your life.
(And his chains fell off from his hands.)

v.9 2. When God’s action passes all human boundaries.
(And he went out, and followed him;)

v.9 3. When your faith is insufficient but God moves anyway.
( and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel;)

v.9 4. When God’s purpose is not seen as clearly as God sees it.

v.10 5. When you are being literally led by God’s all seeing eye.
(When they were past the first and the second ward, …)

v.9, 6. When you discover the reality of God’s powerful presence.
   11 ( but thought he saw a vision.)
(And when Peter was come to himself, he said, …)

v.11 7. When you discover the superiority of God’s hand upon you.
(he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath 
delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the
people of the Jews.)

God's Supply Genesis 37: 5

vs.5 1) While God's children are engaged in present activity God has already worked out a future plan. 
(and Joseph dreamed a dream) 

vs.5 2) Present attempts on our part to work on God's plan only result in God working on us. 
(he told it to his brethren.) 

vs.5  3) There is always plenty to obey to occupy us with that we don't need to be trying to help God out. 
(he told it to his brethren)

4) Present obedience extends our life into His future plan. as observed in Joseph's life 

5) We will gain the benefit of God's plan and see His wisdom. 

6) We will learn that our successes in life came from following God precisely/even though 
God may have shared some special truth with us early on in life. 

7) We cannot live a fulfilled spiritual life without God's keeping His covenant and promises.

The Working Presence of Truth Psalms 119: 41-44

v.41 1. God's being merciful to me in time of challenge.
(Let thy mercies come also unto me, O Lord, even)

v.41 2. The fruit of salvation working in my life.
(even thy salvation, according to thy word.)

v.42 3. The spirit of meekness in responding to false accusation.
(So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in 
thy word.)

v.42 4. Trust that God's word will be there as I need it.
(for I trust in thy word.)

v.43 5. Having the word ready to speak in response.
(And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for)

v.43 6. Previous preparation in study and storing up of God's truth.
(for I have hoped in thy judgments.)

v.44 7. Continued discipline in faith of scripture.
(So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.)

The Comfort of God's Word Genesis 21: 1-3

v.1 1. It is fitly spoken.
( And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said,.... )

v.1 2. It rejoices the heart.

v.1 3. It is great encouragement to know you have a place in the plan of God.
( and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken.)

v.2 4. It is a peaceful relief to leave timing and manner in God's hand.
( For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age,....)

v.2 5. Marital harmony and blessing is truly God given.
( And bare Abraham a son in his old age,)

v.2 6. God's fulfillment is on time;  it isn't late.
( at the set time of which God had spoken to him.)

v.3 7. God's promises bring treasured blessing for a long time to come.

(and put on  Him a scarlet robe)

v.29 3. A crown of provocation.

v 29 4. Disdaining His rule.

v.29 5. Mocking His deity.
(and they bowed the knee before Him, and mocked Him, saying Hail, King of the Jews!)

(And know that I am God:)

v.10 3. To know God by inward conviction.
(And know that I am God:)

v.10 4. To fully believe His victorious position, both presently and to come.
(I will be exalted among the heathen,)

v.10 5. To personally reverence God above all else.
(I will be exalted in the earth.)

v.11 6. To glory in His presence.
(The Lord of hosts is with us:)

v.11 7. To rest in His defense.
(The God of Jacob is our refuge.)

The Capacity of God's Grace 2 Corinthians 9: 8

1. The  grace to do God’s work empowered by power from above.

2. The grace to do God’s work enlightened by wisdom from above.

3. The grace to do God’s work equipped with rich resources from above.

4. The grace to do God’s work with the human resources provided by God, whether many 
or few.

5. The grace to do God’s work which is commensurate with the need.

6. The grace to do God’s work provided on a timely basis.

7. The grace to do God’s work with His delight and purpose being the priority, continuous 
priority.

The Word on Mission Psalms 107: 20

1. God sent out His word.

2. God sent out a specific word.
word- Strong's 1697 a word, a matter or thing; act, advise, affair, answer

3. God sent His word specifically assigned.

4. God brings restoration to His design and intention.
healed- Strong's 7495- to cure, cause to heal, repair, thoroughly make
                whole,abate, cease

5. God's word delivers.
delivered Strong's 4422- to release, rescue, escape, preserve, saved, speedily, 
surely

6. God's word preserves.

7. God's word is sufficient for any/all needs.
destructions- Strong's 7825- a pitfall, destruction, pit.
