Included in the Promise Genesis 15: 18-21

click to Read the passage: Genesis 15  (a new browser window will open)

(In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I  given this land.)

1.            The promise of God is all inclusive.
               Everything God includes is included.

2.            The promise of God is all needed.
To gain what God has promised will require believing all His promises.

3.            The promises of God are to be remembered.
All God says will later be needed.

4.            The promises of God form the basis of a believer’s claim and authority,
There is land to be claimed. The enemy will not respond to the name of man, but he
will respond to the name of God.

5.            God’s promises are to be kept and obeyed, believed.
The “ites” were to be cast out.

6.            Faith is the pathway to victory.
God’s promises must be acted upon.

7.            To leave out part of God‘s promise in the believing and/or partaking will bring
greater difficulty and sorrow of heart in the future.
As witnessed by Israel when they did not drive the”ites” out of the land.
