(Shall tribulation, or distress,)

(Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.)

Evidence of the Holy Spirit's Filling Ephesians 5 19-32

Evidence of the Holy Spirit’s Filling
Ephesians 5: 19-32

v.19 1. A message in the heart from God’s word.
(be filled with the Spirit, speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns)

v.19 2. Joy that is not started by you.
(and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.)

v.20 3. Having a grateful heart.
(Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of the
  Lord Jesus Christ.)
        a.   because you did not change yourself
        b.   because you are not your own source of supply
        c.   because you  know where your strength comes from

v.21 4. Surrendered to God’s equality of grace.
(Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.)
Grace puts all of God’s children in the same relationship, none better than
  another.
All are sinners saved by grace.   Character is motivated by fear of the Lord.

v.22, 5. Godliness in marriage.
25 (Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands,)
        (husbands, love your wives, …)

v.29         6. Christ’s love as bond and example.
(nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church;)

v.31, 7. Willing conformity to Christ likeness.
32 (and they two shall be one flesh… I speak concerning Christ and the church.)

Heritage Affixed Numbers 34 19-29

Read the passage: Numbers 34

1. All of God's chosen will have an inheritance.
There are none of God's chosen excluded from His inheritance.

2. All of God's chosen are recorded as God's chosen.

3. The basis of participation is that God's name be affixed.

4. The basis for participation of God's chosen is relationship, not merit.

5. The unbalanced condition between the merit of God's children and the justness of God is filled with grace and mercy.
It may require more grace and mercy for one of God's children as opposed to another, but all are brought into balance with the Father's standard of righteousness through grace and mercy.

6. Being born into the family of God assures your heavenly inheritance.

7. The heavenly inheritance of God's chosen is secure from the enemy's attempts to steal and destroy.

The Holy Spirit's Work Acts 4 31- 5: 11

Read the passage: Acts 4

v.31 1. The empowerment of the church to do its mission.
(And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy ghost,)

v.31 2. Life to the messenger bearing the word of truth.
(and they spake the word of God with boldness.)

v.32 3. The conscience of an unselfish life serving Christ.
(And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that aught of the things which he possess was his own; but they had all things common.)

v.33 4. The empowerment of the message of the word of God borne by the messenger.
(And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus:)
see also 5: 32 (And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey Him.)

v.33 5. The enduring of grace.
(of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.)

v.34- 6. The record revealing Christ as absolute in His sufficiency.
37   (Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles; feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.) ...

5:3, 7. The enforcer of truth.
11 (But Peter said, Ananias, why hath satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost,...)(And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.)

It Wouldn't Be Enough Psalms 98 4-9

Read the passage: Psalms 98

v.4 1. Were the whole earth to utter forth its praise to God , it wouldn’t be enough to honor fully His greatness.
(Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud)

v.4 2. Were the whole earth to cry out in unison of praise, it wouldn’t be enough to adequately proclaim His worthiness.)
(make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.)

v.5,6 3. Were all the melodious instruments called upon to express their gifts of praise from hearts of praise, it wouldn’t be enough to reveal the majesty of His greatness.
(and sing praise.)(Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.)(With trumpets and sound of cornet ...)

v.6 4. All the praise that can be mustered out of the human heart is to be given to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
(With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.)

v.7 5. Were all the creation plus all mankind to offer praise unto God, its adequacy would still fall short of His greatness.
(Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.)

v.8 6. Were the strength and power of created forces and earthly power to exclaim their praises to God, still there would be inadequacies of expression for His greatness.
(Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together.)

v.9 7. Still, every believer is to utter forth the praises of his own heart. Creation will continue its faithful praise to God.
(Before the Lord; for He cometh to judge the earth:)

The Superiority of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 2 12

Read the passage: 1 Corinthians 2

(Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.)

1.We are not bound by the world's persuasion.

2.We are not bound by the world's limited understanding.

3.We are not to follow the world's counsel.

4.We are free in our pursuit of Godly understanding.

5.God's understanding is given free and freely to us.

6.All truth we hold is God given.

7.A believer's faith would have him continuously seeking more from God's hand and heart.
