The Precision of Prayer Luke 11 11, 12

Read the passage: Luke 11

(If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish will he for a fish give him a serpent?) ( Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?)
  1. Prayer to God does not get side tracked somewhere else, lost in space.
    God hears.

  2. God doesn’t have backorders or substitutes.

  3. God doesn’t disappoint the one praying.

  4. God doesn’t give something that has no value for the need.
(will he give him a stone?)

  5. God doesn’t turn the believer’s petition to harm.
    (give him a serpent?)

  6. God responds in like kind, His law of harvesting.

  7. God responds generously, His character of goodness.
    God meets the need.
