Wisdom in Trial Luke 15: 18-24

v.18 1. Don’t stay in defeat.
(I will arise and o to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned
against heaven, and before thee,)

v.18 2. Don’t  refuse to repent.

v.18 3. Return to the Father’s house.

v.18 4. Acknowledge your sin against the Father and His Son.

v.19 5. Acknowledge your unworthiness before/to God.
(And an no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired
servants.)

v.19 6. Humble your heart before God.

v.19 7. Desire the place of service to/before God.

v.20 8. Make an action out of your intention.
(And he arose, and came to his father. But when)

v.20 9. Fall on the Father’s loving grace and into His loving hold.
(But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had 
compassion and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.)

v.21 10. Tell the story of a repentant heart and confess sin.
(And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in
thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.)

v.22 11. Leave with the Father His response but enjoy the Father.
(But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:)

v.23 12. Receive the Father’s restoration.
(And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:)

v.24 13. Stay, never to leave again, before the Father in His house.
(For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.
                And they began to be merry.)

v.24 14. Live on in the strength of the Father’s fellowship.
