Christ's Teachings-What Hell Lacks Luke 16: 23-27

v.23 1. Justification and excuses of the unrepentant sinner.
   (And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off,
and Lazarus in his bosom.)

v.23 2. Peace, contentment.

v.23 3. Any hope.   

v.24 4. Servants.
(And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus,
that he may  dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am 
tormented in this flame.)

v.24 5. Mercy.

v.24 6. Any relief from suffering.

v.24 7. Any relief from torment.

v.24 8. Anyone concerned or caring.

v.25 9. Comfort.
(But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good
things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art 
tormented.)

v.25 10. Correction, repentance.

v.25 11. Ease, convenience.

v.26 12. Change, alteration.
(And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they
which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that
would come from thence.)

v.26 13. Freedom, release.

v.27 14. Communication to the outside.
(Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my
father’s house.)
