1) God cares about the needy.

2) God hears the cry of the needy.

3) The needy present opportunity to those with plenty to have compassion. 

( Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, )

4) To deny the needy is to expose oneself to need. 

( he also shall cry himself, ) 

5) To deny the needy is to deny the reason for the peace of those with plenty. 

( he also shall cry himself, ) 

6) To lose sensitivity to the needy is an indication added problems will follow. 

( whoso stoppeth his ears ) 

7) To allow hardness of heart toward the needy, will cause God to close his ears to the cry of the plenteous.
