v.25 1. It
puts something in your hand that is unwanted.
(And
now, behold, we are in thine hand: as it)
v.25 2. It
closes the door on right.
(as
it seemeth good and right unto thee to do unto us, do.)
v.26 3. It
protects the undeserving and the guilty.
(And
so did he unto them, and delivered them out of the hand of the
children
of Israel, that they slew them not.)
v.26 4. It
gives opportunity undeserved; it is grace by conscription.
v.27 5. It
leads to granting of a job but no ministry.
(And
Joshua made them that day hewers of wood and drawers of water for
the
congregation, and for the altar of the Lord, even unto this day, )
v.27 6. It
gives the gain of service but no increase for that service.

provides mixed service to God.
