(We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy

temple.)

v.2 1. Because God hears and grants our petitions.

(O thou that hearest prayer,)

v.3 2. Because of God’s protection.

(Iniquities prevail against me: …)

v.3 3. Because of God’s forgiveness.

(as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.)

v.4 4. Because of God’s choosing us.

(Blessed is the man whom thou choosest,)

v.4 5. Because of God’s acceptance.

(and causest to approach unto thee,)

v.4 6. Because of God’s fellowship.

(that he may dwell in thy courts:)

v.4 7. Because of God’s goodness.
