God's Greatness Job 40: 7-14

Read the passage Job 40
v.7 1. God’s wisdom is umimpaired by man.
(Gird up thy loins now like a man; I will demand of thee …)

v.8 2. God’s decisions cannot be changed by man.
(Wilt thou also annul my  judgment?)

v.8 3. God’s truth does not justify man’s omissions.
(Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?)
Man has to condemn truth to justify his sin.

v.9 4. God’s power is unwithheld by man.
(Hast thou an arm like God: or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?)

v.10 5. God’s beauty is untarnished by man’s vanity.
(Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency: and array thyself with glory and
  beauty.)
Man has no such virtue.

v.11,6. God’s dominion is unaffected by the pride of man.
12 (Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and
  abase him.)
(Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked
in their place.)
Only God can deal with proud hearted man.
v.13- Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.)

v.14 7. God’s sovereign control is unthreatened by the supposition of man.
(Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.)
