Read the passage: Luke 10
v.17 1. Not just because of what your are permitted to do but because of who you are.
(Lord, even the demons are subject unto us through thy name.)
v.18 2. Not just because of your temporary deeds but because of God’s great rule.
(And He said unto them, I beheld satan as lightning fall from heaven.)
v.19 3. Not just because of your power in ministry but because of your source of power in ministry.
(Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy;...)
v.20 4. Not just because of your present worth but be because of your future hope.
(but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.)
v.21 5. Not just because of present understanding- but because of eternal wisdom.
(...thou hast hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.)
v.22 6. Not just because of what you have learned but because you have learned who the Father is.
(...And who the Father is, but the Son, and He to whom the Son will reveal Him.)
v.24 7. Not just because of your opportunity but because of the great honor God has extended to you.
(For I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them, ...)
