Read the passage: 1 Peter 4

v.12 1.Trials of faith will come to a believer.
(Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you,)

v.12 2.A believer need not consider such trial as strange or because of some failing of his.
(as though some strange thing happened unto you:)

v.12 3.A believer need not be overcome by such trials.
(as though some strange thing happened unto you:)

v.13 4.A trial is a messenger of joy because of the fellowship with Christ that is to be enjoyed.
(But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings;)
It may now be joy by faith.

v.13 5.Inasmuch as sufferings are to continue, a believer need understand God's purpose in them.
(...that, when His glory shall be revealed)- future tense

v.13 6. There will be a partaking of the fruit of His glory.
(that, when His glory shall be revealed,)

v13 7.There will be a great exultation of joy at the knowledge of the reward of fellowshipping with Him in His suffering.
(ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.)
