And It Came to Pass Acts 27 44

Read the passage: Acts 27

(And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass that they all escaped safely to the land.)

1. Circumstances cannot prevail against God's will.

2. What God promises comes to pass.
 see v. 22

3. God's mercy is present in His deliverance.
(all escaped)

4. God deliverance is a complete one.
(two hundred and seventy-six souls.)

5. God's opportunity to be saved is not only illustrated but is presented to all who believe.

6. God's purpose remains intact, unscathed by the trials of circumstance.

7. God's purpose remains intact, unaltered by the affairs of and plans of men.
No man could have delivered Paul to Rome through that kind of storm. Only God could and did.

It is remarkable that after all the storm driven course that they were still on target for Rome.
