Read the passage: Jeremiah 1
1) Before we were known by anyone.
(Before I formed thee in the womb,)
2) Before we knew anything about God.
(I knew thee)
3) Before we have the capacity to respond.
(and before thou earnest forth out of the womb,)
4) Before we have the opportunity to obey.
(before thou earnest forth out of the womb,)
5) Before we transgressed God's law.
(I sanctified thee,)
6) Before we chose God.
(and, I ordained thee)
7) Before we knew the needs and ways of men.
(a prophet unto the nations)
