v.13 1. God alone is to be honored.
(No servant can serve two master: for either he will hate the one, and love the
other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve
God and mammon.)
v.15 2. God’s word is the measure of all mens’ lives.
(And he said unto them, ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but
God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is
abomination in the sight of God.)
v.16 3. God’s word has been declared truth before all men.
(The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God
is preached, and every man presseth into it.)
v.16 4. God’s word may not be set aside by man’s decisions.
v.17 5. God’s word is applicable as is God’s continuity of creation.
(And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.)
v.17 6. God’s word is applicable in its every expression.
v.17 7. God’s word will not ever be any different.
