God's Eternal Security Genesis 7: 1-17

7:1 1. God extends the invitation, man must come in response.

(and the Lord said unto Noah, Come ... ) 

v.7 2. God will protect from the storms of life, man must enter into God's ark of

                safety. (and Noah went in, … ) 

v.16 3. Man enters God's ark of safety, but security must come from the Lord.

        (and the Lord shut him in.) 

v.17 4. God raises man above life destruction-the wages of sin. 

(and the waters increased and bore up the ark, and it was lifted up above 

the earth.) 

v.16 5. God's hand of grace shuts out judgment. 

               (and the Lord shut him in.) 

v.16 6.  God protects His purpose through preserving His children. 

(and the Lord shut him in) (and God remembered Noah, … ) 

7. God's eternal purposes are established by His firm hand. pictured in 

                Noah's going forth to be fruitful.
