Read the passage 1 Peter 1
v.61.The rule of salvation in the heart is a rule of joy.
(Wherein ye greatly rejoice,)
Note the security and honor of true faith.
v.62.Seasonal disruption may come through trial and testing.
(though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness...)
v.63.The trial of faith may be very weighted.
(ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:)
v.74.The trial of faith is a refining work that is either God permitted or God initiated.
(That the trial of your faith,)
v.75.True faith will not perish, it is more precious than gold.
(...being much more precious than of gold that perisheth,)
That which is not of faith will be consumed.
v.76.Testing does not injure the substance of true faith, but only purifies it. (though it be tried with fire,)
v.77.True faith is committed to the attainment of the glory of Christ.
(might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:)
That is true presently, also true forever. It will last until His appearing.
