The Fount of Thanksgiving 1 Chronicles 29: 10-20

Acknowledgments in thanksgiving: 


v.10 1. God's eternal fatherhood. Matthew 6: 6-8
(Wherefore David blessed the Lord before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, Lord God of Israel our father, ) 
The personal relationship with God that God allows. 
To the new testament believer it is first with the Son, the Savior.  The Son reveals the Father.

v.10 2. God's uninterruptable rule. 
(our Father, for ever and ever.) 
One rule over eternity.

v.11 3. God's immeasurable greatness and might 
(Thine, 0 Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty:) 
Words that uniquely identify Jesus and accelerate our heart in triumphant trust.

v.11 4. God's inexhaustible treasure. 
(for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine;) God's protection from both worry and greed.
God’s ownership, the believer’s security.
  
v.11, 5. God's indisputable rule and authority. 
12 (thine is the kingdom, 0 Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all,)(and thou reignest over all;) 
Matthew 28: 18

v.12 6. God's unfailing supply. 
(Both riches and honor come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in) 
God does not fail His people.

v.12 7. God's irrevocable hand. 
(and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great and to give strength to all) 
Men look to another man for approving, for reimbursement …
Isaiah 59: 1 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save;)

v.13 8. God's matchless name.  The personal manifestation of all the names of God
(Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.) 
John 17: 12 keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

v.14 9. God's overwhelming grace and mercy. 
15 (But who am I , and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort?) 
(For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.) 

v.14, 10. God's abundant supply. 
(for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.) 
God gave so we might give.
John 10: 10 I am come …have it more abundantly.
Jesus can select from His supply, that which matches our need.

11. God's endowment of spiritual gain and blessing. 
(0 Lord our God, all this store that we have prepared to build the a house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own.) 
Teach old testament history and God’s provision of resources. 

12. God's immutable uprightness. 
(I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in 
uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are  present here, to offer willingly unto thee.)
first use of uprightness in this verse is Strong’s 4339- equity, justice, straight , righteous, equal
2nd use of uprightness is Strong’s 3476 honesty, integrity
v.18 keep your people like you.

13. God's infallible word. 
(And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.)
We live by His life and by His word.

14. God's timeless throne of perfection. 
(Now David said to all the congregation, Now bless the Lord your God. And all the congregation blessed the Lord God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshiped the Lord, and the King.) 
Revelation 12,  13
We need to worship Jesus.
