v.191.It leads the heart to honor Christ, to delight in following Him.
(Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and
making melody in your heart to the Lord;)

v.202.It nurtures full acknowledgment of the Father's will in my life and the Son
of God's authority in occurrences in my life.
(Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;)

v.203.It frees my heart from the pressure of wrong conclusions.

v.21-4.It guards the heart from reasonings of the flesh.
30(Wives, submit… husbands, love your wives, …)
The focus of the heart is on obedience, not fairness, not man's standards, … arguments.  I would but he, (she), …)

v.22-5.It brings the heart to honor and reconcilement with the will of God.
27(That He might present it to Himself a glorious church, …)
Literally equipping the heart,
blessing marriage.

v.22-6.It positions the heart to acknowledge its dependency upon Christ.
  32For apart from the Holy Spirit's work there can be no attainment of God's standards;
the flesh would work out its resisting rule.
The feeling of spiritual emptiness would be the result.
The failings of a believer (time apart from being full) encourage the heart's quick return to Christ.

v.23-7.It directs the heart to acknowledge the higher purposes of God and to seek
 32them.
the work of the church.
The Holy Spirit is able to deal with any arising circumstance which competes with the
will of God.
