The Absolute Sufficiency of the Word Matthew 4: 4-7,10

vs. 4 1) God's word has an answer for the foolishness of satan.

Jesus response in his humanity- he hungered.

vs. 4 2) God's word recognizes all needs as of spiritual consequence and provides precise
spiritual answers for those specific needs.

(man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth
 of God.)

vs. 4 3) God's word is absolutely necessary for meaningful life.

v 7 4) God's word is perfect, having no error.

v 10 5) God's word causes satan to flee!

(Be gone satan)

v 10 6) God's word recognizes and upholds only one sovereign rule.

(Thou shalt worship the Lord, thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve)

       7) God's word is final and settles all issues.
