Read the passage: Psalms 34
v.5 1. To ones who looked unto the Lord.
(They looked unto Him,)
v.5 2. The evidence of victory- God's radiance presiding.
(and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.)
v.5 3. The shedding of shame.
(and their faces were not ashamed.)
v.6 4. The cry of the helpless considered.
(This poor man cried, ...)
v.6 5. The cry of faith having been heard.
(This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,)
v.6 6. God was more than a listener, but a deliverer.
(and saved him out of all his troubles.)
v.6 7. To be free in troubles is a great gift.
The Christian life may not be free of troubles but there is freedom in those
troubles.
