As a parent:
v13 1) Take your children to Christ
(then were there brought unto Him little children)
v 13 2) Ask God to place His blessings upon them.
(that He should put His hands on them,)
v13 3) Ask for them what God desires for them.
(Pray)
The heart of prayer is God's mind; asking for what He wants to give.
V 13 4) Don't be beset by obstacles in the way.
(and the disciples rebuked them)
v14 5) Take comfort in God's concern on their behalf.
(But Jesus said, permit little children, ... )
v14 6) Encourage the faith of your child.
(forbid them not)
To put faith in Jesus.
Prepare them for the Kingdom of God.
v14 7) Build in their life out of Kingdom doctrine and resources.
(for of such is the kingdom of heaven)
