Undeterred Promise Luke 11; 9, 10

click to Read the passage: Luke 11  (a new browser window will open)

(And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find;
knock, and it shall be opened unto you.)

1. The coverage of God’s promise is to all His own.
(For every one that asketh receiveth;)

2. Emphasis is placed on the claim of faith- the asking.
(For every one that asketh receiveth;)

3. God did not impose limitation on the privilege granted here in scripture.
That is because it is of grace.  see v. 5-8

4. God has not placed maybes before His people, or uncertainties.
(and he that seeketh findeth;)

5. God’s grace entitles the believer to find more of Christ continuously.
(and he that seeketh findeth;)

6. God is interested in expanding the work of the gospel in the believer’s life.
(knock, and it shall be opened unto you.)

7. Christ is committed to the fullness of truth to which the door is opened at
salvation to every believer who would believe.
