Read the passage: Genesis 26
(And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they
strove not; and he called the name of it Rehoboth, and he said, For now
the Lord hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.)
v.22 1. A place of God’s supply.
(And he removed from thence, and digged another well;)
v.22 2. A place free from strife.
( and for that they strove not;)
v.22 3. A place giving wide opportunity.
( and he called the name of it Rehoboth,)
Rehoboth means broad places.
v.22 4. A place where there is freedom to seek after God.
( and he said, For now the Lord hath made room for us,)
v.22 5. A place where there is room for blessing-the blessing God is sure to give.
( and he said, For now the Lord hath made room for us,)
v.22 6. A place of fruitful opportunity.
( and we shall be fruitful in the land.)
(v 23. And he went up from thence to Beersheba.)
v.24 7. A place where God makes Himself known.
(And the Lord appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of
Abraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and
multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham’s sake.)
