Read the passage: Luke 6
(A good man out of the good measure of his heart bringeth forth that which
is good: and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth
that which is evil; for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.)
1. The heart is to be protected by the believer.
2. What is continually placed into or allowed in the heart is of critical influence
on the expressions of that life.
3. When a believer defiles the temple, he will have a mixed message; his
heart is not full of the abundance of scriptures.
4. Only that which comes from Jesus is truly abundant.
John 10: 10
5. The treasures of a lost man’s heart are worldly and may be of abundant
worldly proportion, but not of spiritual proportion.
6. The believer is to speak, that is to minister, always from an abundant
position, that is a full heart from Christ.
7. There is always certainty of ministry from a truly abundant heart, one in
fellowship with the Savior.
