Before the Religious: 19: 1-15          Avoid regulatory approaches to

The cross: 19: 16-
The cruelty of man’s reason
The abandonment of what is right

The ease with which men justify miserable, inexcusable conduct.
Violence in the heart will find an expression.
Pride won’t bow on its own.
Deceived men bind their own opportunity for liberty.
Government cannot reconcile itself with Christ’s changeless justice- nor can the religious.
Truth is met with mockery.
The walk is solitary.
Man’s fleshly side is cold, hard hearted, indifferent, vile, pretentious, wicked, evil.

All is an indication of a need for the cross. That is the truth the Father knew all along.

Today man is presented in a light offense sort of way. Sin is removed from his acknowledgment conveniently by a deceiver, the devil.
