v.37 1) Hatred and bitterness.

(but ye seek to kill me,)

v.37 2) Opposition to truth.

(because my word hath no place in you.)

v.37 3) Destruction.

(ye seek to kill me,)

v.38 4) Looks like the devil’s work.

(and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.)

v.40 5) Hates reproof.

(…this did not Abraham.)

v.44 6) Lustful.

(…an the lusts of your father ye will do.)

v.44 7) Void of truth.

(…because there is no truth in him.)
