The Test of Our Love Matthew 13: 53-58

v.53,1.We can respect Jesus' teaching, and yet not love Jesus as the teacher. 

 54(And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables,)

v.54 2.We can marvel at Jesus' wisdom, and yet not love Jesus words

.(they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom,)

v.54 3.We can witness Jesus' mighty hand, and yet not have praise in our hearts for Jesus.

(and these mighty works?)

v.55 4.We can be present where Jesus is present and yet not delight in Jesus.

v.56 5.We can let our heart be filled with dispute and we will deny Jesus.

(And his sisters, are they not all with us?  Whence then hath this man all these things?)

v.58 6.We can hold doubt and we will lose the blessings and power of Jesus' presence.

(And He did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.)

v.58 7.There will be silence in the heart, if there is no love for Jesus.

(And He did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.)

A heart of unbelief has no spiritual message.
