Read the passage 2 Chronicles 33
(And prayed unto Him: and he was entreated of Him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord he was God.)
1. The past cannot deny the privilege of prayer presently.
2. Even sin cannot bar the privilege of prayer to a believer.
3. Prayer works even if a believer is slow in response.
4. Prayer works even when it has not been practiced for a long season.
5. Prayer is reliable to a genuinely seeking heart.
6. Prayer draws God’s erring child nigh to God.
James 4: 8
7. Prayer gets through to God and receives His message.
8. Prayer returns the heart to Biblical wisdom.
9. Prayer leads to right counsel for the heart and right action for the life.
10. Prayer brings restoration of God given privilege.
