v.1 1. Troubling
events mar spiritual liberty.
(The
first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet
dark,
unto the sepulcher,)
2. Spiritual
loyalty is expressed with fade and hope
(unto
the sepulcher, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulcher.)
v.1 3. Spiritual
fellowship is based on only memory.
Jesus
is gone seemingly.
v.1 4. The
seeming certainty of a dead relationship is met with renewed
opportunity.
v.1,2 5. There
is truth to believe, but doubt is a persistent enemy
(and
seeth the stone taken away) (we know not where they have laid Him.)
v.11, 6. Believers
with lost hope are victimized by much sorrow.
15 (But
Mary stood without at the sepulcher weeping:)(Jesus saith unto her,
Woman,
why weepest thou? whom seekest thou?)
v.16 7. Sorrow
is turned to joy by the reality of truth's immortality and eternal
life.
(Jesus
saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself,and saith unto Him,
Rabboni;
which is to say, Master.)
