The Basis of True Fellowship Philippians 2: 1-3

V.1            1.            Agreement with truth.

                        (If there be, therefore, any consolation in Christ…)

v.1            2.            Surrender to the Holy Spirit.

                        (if any fellowship of the Spirit)

v.2            3.            Cooperation with the Holy Spirit’s leadership.

                        (Fulfill ye my joy, …)

v.3            4.            Acceptance of those the Holy Spirit brings into your life.

                        (let nothing be done through strife or vainglory, …)

 v.4            5.            Having genuine concern for the brethren.

                        (look not every man on his own things, …)

v.5            6.            Staying within the bounds of God’s acceptance.

                        (let this mind  be in you,)

v.5            7.            Living with Christ as the center of life.

                        (which was also in Christ Jesus,)

                        Be reconciled with, agree with, Jesus.
