(And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.)

It will sustain through the deepest trial.
-
It will not fail when the need of the disciple is the greatest.
-
When the disciple would desire to hide, he is hidden in the shelter of
Jesus’ prayer.
-
When the pathway seems darkened, there is yet the light of Christ’s prayer.
-
Without the life of Jesus prayer, faith would surely fail due to the severity
of the failure of the disciple.
-
Godly sorrow is nurtured by the prayer of Jesus for His disciple.
-
The heart of the disciple will be able to return to fullness of love and service
to/before Jesus.
