v.22 1. God remembers the exercising of faith, that is those who have believed
in Him.
(But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go
into the harlot’s house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she
hath, as ye swore unto her.)
v.22 2. God protects those of faith.
v.22, 3. God is willing to extend privilege to the one believing in Him.
23 (and all that she hath,)
(And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and
her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and thy
brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel.)
v.22 4. God spares those of faith from judgment.
(And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: …)
v.25 5. Truly God is the ruler over life.
(And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father’s household, and
all that she had; and she)
v.25 6. The life God preserves and gives is without end.
(and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because)
God give eternal life.
v.25 7. To discover one’s place in the divine plan of God is most rewarded and
blessed.
(because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.)
