(Saying, Fear not, Paul, thou must be brought before Caesar;)
1. Circumstances may challenge, but cannot rule over what God promises.
2. God’s promises are backed up by God's own character.
See v. 25 for Paul’s belief.
3. God is the one in charge of His own promises.
Man is not in charge of God’s promises.
4. God honors His word.
5. Neither man nor circumstances can jeopardize God's word.
6. God will reveal His greater control over any circumstance which threatens the fulfillment of His promises.
7. To possess a promise from God is to be in a position of great security.
Paul was as safe as he would have been had he been on land.
