v.10            1.            No suppression of Godly liberty.

                                  (The Lord bringeth the counsel of the nations to nought;)

v.10            2.           No advancement of man’s theorems above God’s laws.

                                  (The Lord bringeth the counsel of the nations to nought;)

v.10            3.           No false pretense of power resting in the might of man.

                                  (the counsel of the nations)

v.10            4.           No unequal justice.

                                  (to nought)

                                  God cannot honor it.

v.10,            5.         No standards of morality and truth alterable by man.

   11                           (…The counsel of the Lord standeth forever,)

                                  God’s standards cannot be altered.

v.11            6.           No denial of God’s supreme authority.

                                  (The counsel of the Lord standeth forever,)

v.12            7.           No compromise of loyalty.

                                  (Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord;)

                                  Daily living the life of faith and trust in Jesus and His word.

               There is:

            1.            A command we cherish.

            2.            A decision we make.

                           (we are to be strong)

            3.            A source to draw from.

            4.            A faith to exercise.

            5.            A promise to believe.

            6.            A leader to follow.

            7.            A work to finish.

( the completeness of His will )

5) The instruction regarding God's will

1.God hears the destructive hurts of wickedness.

(18:20 Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great,)

2.God is grieved by man's chosen wickedness.

3.God is attentive to the lives of men upon earth.

( 18:21 according to the cry of it, which is come unto me;)

4.God is a judge.

v.1            2.      The need for God’s protection is all the greater.

v.2            3.      The need for keen alertness is all the greater.

v.3            4.      The need for building lives in Christ is all the greater.

                        1 Corin. 3: 11  For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid,

                        which is Jesus Christ.

v.4            6.      The need for holiness is all the greater.

                        (The Lord is in His holy temple, the Lord’s )

v.4            7.      The need to remain under God’s authority is all the greater.

                        (the Lord’s throne is in heaven: His eyes)

v.4            8.      The need to be accountable to God is all the greater.

                        (His eyes behold, His eyelids try, the children of men.)

v.7            9.     The need for righteousness is all the greater.

                        (For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; His countenance)

                        righteousness- purity of heart, justness, equity, upright.

v.7            10.    The need for God’s nearness is all the greater.

                        (His countenance doth behold the upright.)

                        His faithfulness is supreme.

The Power in Prayer John 6:11

            1.         It acknowledges the heavenly Father as God alone.

            2.         It attributes sufficiency to God's hand.

                        It is not a trumped up, pumped up, power of man.

            3.         It acknowledges the heavenly Father as the source of life- the provider.

            4.         It admits human need.

                        We rule too much on the quality of the need.

            5.         It expresses the petition of a humble heart.

                        Realizing the foundation of grace, the fact God is not a respector of persons,

                        Gods goodness, mercy and forgiveness is present.

            6.         It expresses gratefulness for God's hearing.

            7.         It gains assurance of God's manifestation.

                        Is committed to God’s presiding and Gods outcome.

The Focus of Jesus John 11: 8-14
